Overseas Earnings Monitoring Program
The Tax Inspection Board announced the launch of the Overseas Earnings Monitoring Program on September 28, 2026.
For individuals residing in Turkey who hold bank accounts, investment accounts, companies, real estate, or any source of income abroad, their tax declarations in Turkey will now be more systematically cross-referenced with international data via CRS (Common Reporting Standard) and CbCR (Country-by-Country Reporting).
Primarily, the overseas assets, investments, corporate and partnership structures, and income and earnings generated abroad by high-income and high-net-worth individuals will be analyzed.
Individuals included in the monitoring scope will be requested by Tax Inspectors to provide information and explanations regarding the matters and amounts identified by the Risk Analysis Center.
