Company Vehicles on SSI Radar

Vehicles registered in the name of the company must, in principle, be used by company employees.

During traffic inspections targeting commercial vehicles, if it is understood that a vehicle belongs to a company, the driver's identity information is checked against SSI records.

If it is determined that the driver is not reported as insured at the relevant workplace, a report is drawn up by traffic units and the issue is reported to SSI.

This situation can be evaluated by SSI within the scope of "undeclared work" and can result in severe administrative fines for the company (66 thousand TL - 198 thousand TL).

Since traffic penalty reports can serve as evidence in determining insurability, it may be necessary to exercise sensitivity regarding this issue.
